Some good, cheap, safe hotels in Paris?

Hi everyone,
My friend and I are going on a sight-seeing tour to Paris for a few days and we’re trying to decide where to stay. We’re on a student budget, so nothing over about 80 euro for a twin room per night, but we really don’t want to stay in a hostel, so we’re looking at the budget hotels. We’re looking for a basic, but clean, hotel in a convenient and safe location. A lot of them seem to be in rather dodgy areas…
Can anyone help?

As long as you stay in Paris proper, that is to say in one of the numbered arrondissments of Paris (anything with a postal code of 750XX were the XX is a number from 01 to 20) you are pretty safe. the really dodgy areas of Paris are in the Parisian suburbs rather than the city itself.

A reliable cheap sleep, old, a bit run down but centrally located and cheap is the Hôtel Tiquetonne at 6 rue Tiquetonne in the 2nd arr. A double with private shower and WC is 50 euros a night last I heard.

How far and easy is it to get from Paris Beauvis airport to the heart of Paris?

Hi, It’s very easy if you’re flying in. There will be buses towards Paris from the airport shortly after you land. It will cost about 13€ per person.

Do you get free disney park tickets when you stay at a disney hotel in Paris?

You need to ask this before you book the hotel. Probably not. Some tour packages might have both room and park tickets but there is no such thing as truly free. They figure it into the cost of the package just like “meals included” usually means a higher tour package price. If you really like Disney, visit Disneyland in sunny Anaheim, CA or Disneyworld in FL. When in Paris, soak up the French culture and eat the French food.
