Family of four looking for hotel in paris?

Couple with two teenagers looks for a cheap place to stay in paris for one or two nights.

This is tough because Paris hotel rooms are tiny. We usually have to book two rooms.

The Novotel chain is good. We can usually get connecting rooms.

Last fall, I got desperate because my three kids are small and therefore can’t be in a separate room. We stayed in a hotel. It was clean, well-located and we had our own bathroom. It is very basic but at 100 Euros a night (with breakfast), we didn’t complain. Well, my son did about the push-button showers lol! We brought our own towels and rented their sheets.

I don’t recommend this if you’re coming from America or anywhere else far away.

Look into the Citadines chain. They have “apart-hotel” rooms, with kitchens. They’re sort of a cross between the two. The advantage with the kitchen is that you don’t have to go out for all your meals.
